At Thunders Tabernacle Ministry of Christ and Compassions International Ministry of Jesus Christ, we are Christ-centered ministries united by a shared mission: to serve others and proclaim the transformative power of God’s Word.
Thunders Tabernacle Ministry of Christ focuses on in-church services, including teaching, marriages, funerals, and other in-church ministries.
Compassions International Ministry of Jesus Christ emphasizes outreach—ministering in prisons, nursing homes, schools, and streets to compel people to Christ for healing and restoration.
Founded on the vision given to Derrick Ward in 1984 to preach God’s Word like thunder and Cynthia Ward’s passion for outreach since 2007, the ministries merged in 2007 to create a dynamic, holistic approach to serving the Lord and His people.
